You blokes already knew this, but I was cruising with about 65fps displayed.
Since recently reinstalling FSX, my yoke button for map view hasn't been set, so I tried a couple of F keys.
One changed the view to 2D cockpit, and the fps leapt to 145.
OK, it makes sense, but that sudden change really reinforced the fact!
