That reminds me of when I was a kid and my Nan and Grandad had just got their first telephone. The phone rang and my Nan (who wasn't blonde) answered. She only stayed on the phone for a brief time. My Mom asked why she didn't chat for longer, to which my Nan replied that she'd had a cheese and onion sandwich and didn't want the caller to smell her breath.
