Yes, I had to turn the sound down. Shame, 'cause nothing sounds better than RR Merlins in formation.

Enjoyed it very much, just a shame our airforce is done and dusted in 8 minutes or so these days.

Here in Surrey, we were expecting to see the Red Arrows pass overhead. They didn't arrive, but we had the heavy aircraft and right over our house at about 2,000 ft. Lots of helicopters about a mile away.

Very close formation of A400 and C-17. Also had the Poseidon and an RC-135. Very impressive.

I just had to be there.
Had a perfect view from the middle of a sea of cheering people in Pall Mall.
The boys in blue did us proud!
