That Lancaster documentary

Post by Airspeed »

Somebody mentioned this a few months back, but I couldn't find the thread.
Short story is that it is available on DVD now, (at least in Australia)

Lancaster DVD from DVDLand.

From the team behind Spitfire comes Lancaster, the story of the iconic WW2 bomber told through the words of the last surviving crew members, re-mastered archive material and extraordinary aerial footage of the RAF’s last airworthy Lancaster aircraft.

Is this the one that you refer to?

Available from many suppliers in the UK and also available on Blu-Ray (much better!).

Stratospheric traces, of our transitory flight.

It is that very one, Kevin. When it was last mentioned here, I thought it was said that it had been on cable TV in NZ, but they didn't know when the UK would see it :dunno:

I don't have Blu-Ray :$
