For those unsure of what to expect.. the Mitchell refered to in the filename is none other than R.J. Mitchell (though coincidentally, the aircraft of the same name features too)

In a word, no, not like that. Hawker Tempests and Meteors did, but they didnt actually touch. You do it by disturbing the air pressures around the wingtips, causing the V1 to roll over thus upsetting its gyro and usually causing it to dive harmlessly into the countryside over Kent.
