Hey TV, that's very impressive. I've just started this modeling malarky myself and I've not got anywhere near as good as that.

Just updated the image above, I've added more of the building to the right and the copper roof which my computer lost when it crashed last night.

Thats looking really good there Toby

Certainly accurate buildings are very important.....that would be noticed more than say a runway or taxyway error.

That is the face of the airfield.

One glance at that and it obviouslt Brooklands!!

Hi Garry,

Yes, though my trouble will be that I will have photoreal buildings around the museum... and hopefully the tower if I can persuade someone to do a photo-recce for me down that way, but everywhere else will be back to the old hand-drawn textures (although even those have improved quite a lot)

Ah yes Toby but...

But over a period of time things can be upgraded, but even the hand drawn textures can give the right impression.

It is the use of standard buildings that make the default a non starter.

With the right shape an placement it is far better than nothing.

I suppose though because you are such a perfectionist it probably grates a bit that you can't make everything up to you latest standard.......but that is the drive.

Not to worry about it Rick, I have taken care of it myself after I found out how busy you were.
