I had my 1st flying lesson, was an xmas present from my mum. If only a PPL wasn't so expensive
Flew over Bedford, past Luton, Leighton Buzzard, MK then headed back to Cranfield to perform a touch and go then a full stop landing carried out by myself

Congratulations Charlie!
Is that you, the young man with the glasses, wearing a suitable dress to make sure anyone will be able to find the body?....

Congradulations, and since your here to tell us about it we can assume it went well. I have often thought about it but I know that once I get in the air I will be hooked and will spend what little money I have on it.

Congrats! My Uncle gave me my first TIF back in the 1970s - Fairbairn Airbase at Canberra. Top stuff.

Congratulations!!
See that they let you fly in shorts. When I started I was told always to wear a pair of trousers in case of a fire. I now wear a flying suit (I like to pose you see!).
