Just noticed on all-nodes.com, Kazunori Ito has just released a Jaguar GR.1A. Not tried it yet though.

My eyes lit up, 'til I saw "Ito"
Still, going by his Kingcobra, it might not be too bad!

Probably OK for AI use if nothing else.

Yet again, another disappointment for Jaguar fans! This, and the AP Jag are pretty poor, and the AlphaSim one is getting very dated.
I'll be eager to see what UKMil can do with it, but the model is still cartoonish, which really lets it down. I suppose on the plus side, there's a lot of room for improvement!

started it already
lots more to do, but with a few touches, and an edited CFG, and the UKML jag panel we already have made, it will be better, but not perfect

Don't knock it until you can do better - at least it gives a starting point for others to work at.
If his English was better, maybe he'd collaborate, but then not many of us know any Japanese.

He's already stated he'll be improving the FDEs and textures!
I'm having a go at a set of textures myself, and I'll post a few pics later in development. I'll give you a clue as to the livery... it's black.

Hi Guys
I just with he did some smoothing groups as the visual models are superb apart from all the horrible shadowing.
I have e mailed him before but he does not reply.
FDE etc can all be tweked so i don't count them as major problems
but you can't tweak the model which is a problem.
Regards
Rick

mmmmm
i have been around this game some time, and whilst i cannot do the models, my opinion on these matters is quite well respected and many here will back me, as i defend Kaz's models to the hilt, this one is not one of his best.
as for the english, i am as english as they come, so please be carefull! typing errors are not a showing of lack of the english language
anyway, back to the matter in hand
