Hi Guys

I have no idea but do any of you guys Use a Motor Racing sim called rFactor ?.

I fancy some nice gentle Multiplayer with some CBFSIMmer's.

Volkwagen Lupo's somewhere like Claremont Ferrand just for a laugh.

very close racing and you can't change the setup apart from add/remove fuel.

If you fancy a game or two and want a car painted for it please let me know.

Anyone into RFactor should already have the VW Lupo mod.

Danno is the prime candidate for this.

Regards
Rick

Sorry about the colour but it matches my Kawasaki

Any use ?.

Not sure about black as i had to go 10,10,10 or all detail is gone from car body.

Unzip this to your Rfactor install directory.

I am presuming you know that you need the Lupo 2003 Cup mod installed first.

Hi Rick,

Sorry mate my "important" (FS and Server) machines are going through a defrag/backup script at the moment, be another couple of hours before I dare go near them again!

Can't remember from memory although, having done it once, im pretty sure its easy.

Hi Alex

I have tried to join about 20 different races today but either can't get in or just sit there without being able to drive for some reason.

Can you e mail me when your ready as i can't sit waiting for 2 hours. ?.

I hoped we would have got a better response that one.

Regards
Rick

I must say that the graphics in those screenshots look great.

A couple of question's for you chaps.

Is the game available to buy in the shops?

What kind of system spec's doe's it need to run smoothly?

I have been thinking of getting a decent racing game for a while, and one that can be played online sounds like a right laugh. The last racing game i had on the pc was toca touring cars2 and i seriously enjoyed playing that especially as the car are just suped up road going motor's, or at least look that way

Cheers,
Pete

Hi Pete

the game is a download i'm afraid. http://www.rfactor.net/

its a free demo (limited) and a payware registration to get full use.

it's designed for modding and covers all forms of 4 wheel motorsport.

you can get 100s of addon tracks & cars here

http://www.rfactorcentral.com

the game seems to run on most PC configs and there are 100s of settings and graphics levels so you should be fine.

The reason i like it is the mod ability.

GTLegends is a nicer looking sim but the developers have locked too much of the content so spoiled it's long term appeal.

Regards
Rick
