Hi Toby,
Ah, therein lies the problem.......... I havn't got a clue!!
One of our F.E.s here mentioned it, all he's heard was that it's apparently at Farnborough. Seemed a bit odd to me but he's usually fairly well informed.
If you could ask your friend if they've heard of one arriving it would be much appreciated.

The 124 (or 225) would've been easy to spot..... (well, if I wasn't a few thousand miles away ). The ship / low-loader etc might not have been. So I guess spotting an Antonov might not answer the questionChris Trott wrote:Well, if an Antonov recently showed up, then it's very possible...
A B727 sim (actually, most sims for that fact) won't fit into a C-5, so it has to be transported by Antonov, ship, or land.
You've probably seen that there's gonna be another one in the air soon..... apparently the former G-BEPS has been having engine runs (presumably it's joining the other one down-under). On a similar subject.... the CL-44-O has seemingly been sold to the same mob. Might be time to fire off a CV :dance:Garry Russell wrote:Or stick it in the remaining Belfast..........they've carried a few in their time.
Is that rumour that there -is- a 727 sim at Farnborough?migeater0 wrote:I work for QinetiQ, but only at Boscombe Down. I have heard rumour though...
