That is not much different that I have with the default....

I've downloaded and installed it, so I 'll give it a try this evening.

I don't think you can judge the scenery by a screenshot, a bag-full of different settings separates each and every ones setup.

Btw, other screenies show 18 fps, so there you go ;-)

I'll comment on the experience after the test.

Be advised though, that I do not know what EGLL looks like "live" it has been too many years since I've been there, so I can't comment on the reality of the pack.

I would be interested to know how the EGLL scenery performs - frame rate hits, etc. As far as the reality of the scenery, I doubt the stock scenery is that close to realistic.

Well I did it last night, and on my system there was no difference in FPS between this and the default, maybe a slight difference in the 3. party's favour, but nothing noticeable.

I flew in at night and what I saw of it was pretty good, plenty of traffic as well.

Normally my framerates a poorer at the arriving airport than on the departing airport (not vclaer on why, both something about memory use etc...).

But as I said, no difference in FPS on my system, so it is a "stayer"

Dan,

Thanks for posting your results - I already have the Heathrow Building Works installed so now I will d/l the new file for the rest of the airport. I was there in September and tried to look out every window to see around and get some idea of the Terminal 5 construction but must say I didn't see much. Of course I had no clue what direction I was facing

I find the same thing as you do - arriving at an airport stresses the frame rates more than departing from the same airport. I imagine it is because of the accumulation of things that FS has loaded into memory after a fairly long flight and while memory management has improved with the patch, I can guess it is still not at the optimum level.
