Dh89 Rapide for FSX

I've started to update the Rapide to full FSX status, and was wondering if anybody had any requests for additional features while I'm at it.
I can't guarantee that they'll make it to the final model, but I'll do what I can.
This is for FSX ONLY! I'm not after paint schemes at the moment.

I assume by the general lack of replies, it's either:
a) so good it doesn't need improving
b) no one is using FSX
or
c) no one gives a sh!t

Hi Dave,
It's option (b) in my case. If I was to make one request it would be that the eyepoint in the VC be moved back a bit so you don't feel as if you have your face squashed into the panel. Apart from that, in FS9 it looks and flies perfectly for me.
Now, if you
were taking livery requests, could we have a BEA one please? (runs for coat and cover)
Rgds,
Colin

Hi Colin
you can move the eyepoint in the sim with these keys.
Eyepoint - Move Back Ctrl + Enter
Eyepoint - Move Forward Ctrl + Backspace
Eyepoint - Move Down (lower seat) Shift + Backspace
Eyepoint - Move Up (raise seat) Shift + Enter
Eyepoint - Move Left Ctrl + Shift + Backspace
Eyepoint - Move Right Ctrl + Shift + Enter
Eyepoint - Reset SPACE

Yo-de-do DG
Looking at the results of the 'What sim are you using' poll thus far.. It's fair to say b) accounts for the vast majority of us matey and for 2004.. there's not a lot more you could do to improve it. I'd like to see my VSI and ALT a little more accurate but that was my fault in the first place!!
Colin.. there is a photoreal BEA paint available based on Dave's original which cut's the mustard pretty well (very well in fact) and a certain well known painter is trawling his way through the entire BEA Islander livery fleet (see AFEZ). These paints (unlike the photoreal job) are for DG's v2 model (2004) but the v1/photoreal combination still work ok in 2004
and with the v2 panel

Garry (oops!) is tied up with other projects at the mo but the BEA set hasn't been forgotten and will see the light of day at some point

The machmeter seems to be mising ....but thats all
I think the silence show pure content with it.

Some glass in the windows would be nice
Otherwise, it does seem to work quite well as is. Not to say that it couldn't benefit from a remake, like Rick's Chipmunk which is absolutely superb, even though he says it isn't finished yet!
Best,
Myles
