pssst....want some pilots' notes?

Post by Motormouse »

Dunno if this has been mentioned before,
but I was perusing a branch of Walterstone's (the book shop)
t'other day and noticed they were selling reprints of various pilots notes,
such as Chipmunk T10, Mosquito,Vampire,Spitfire all for around a £5.00

Might be worth a look when you're next out shopping with er' indoors.

My local Waterstone's also had reprints of the Penguin paperback "Aircraft Recognition" by R A Saville Sneath from 1941 - I've got an original of this and the second one from 1942, both pretty dog eared now but fascinating stuff.
