Hi 2pac

I would thing there would be a BGL in the file for the airfield

If you can find it then removing it should do the trick

My friend did a similar thing on one of my airports.

Thanks for the prompt reply Garry...already been down that road to no avail. All the other bgl's are either worded (EGXWstatic or EGXWaircraft) EGYM which is Marham has neither.

He's been very sneaky hasn't he with EGYM. Most of the other airfields have a (eg.. xxxxaircraft.bgl) file but not Marham for some ungodly reason  I dunno mate. Looks like it might be called by one of the libraries but I couldn's say which one. Easy to remove the texture files but that wouldn't do the job.

Sri but nowt obvious there to attack I'm afraid

Also if it is in a library you would have to alter the line that called it in

Deleting from the library if found would mean it disappearing form everywhere else that uses it.

Of course that might not be a problem, but a thought nonetheless

Yes mate.. that thought did occur to me at the time. It has a Tonka parked next to it and there's no sign of that in the scenery folder either. In all honesty, those old statics could do with being removed from everywhere as to say they're substandard in this day and age is an understatement. There's no place for 8-sided models in flightsim and hasn't been for years!!

The Tonka may be AI btw but I'm not sure.

Yo Dave

DM did AI versions...if that's what you mean

That would be the best bet...find remove at source and the put decent ones where you want.

I have been removing stuff from mine as the pristine flight models sits among cardboard cut outs

Hello Mate,

No.. the VC10 is definately not one of DM's.. perish the thought! It is a static and appears at places like Brize too but there, you can see the xxxxaircraft.bgl and hoik em out.. oddly, not at EGYM

I meant the reference to an AI

I wasn't sure if you we saying that THE Ten :prayer: may be in an AI version

Or if that hideous one :sicky: was an AI one.

Thing is to get rid of it and get DM's in there

You might try to decompile the bgl file to a xml file, then edit the xml file and compile it back to bgl again..
