Lovely shots Eddie
Is that FSX you're using??
Those water textures.. especially in the last shot are without doubt the most realistic I've seen in any version of flightsim
Excellent stuff

I like the "texture" of the water but not the colour
Nice set there Eddie with the ole Wessex
A lot character in those old whirlybirds
The Wessex's replacement though had a far more apt name for a search helicopter, the seeking  ...sorry Sea King

I think the colours about right for that part of the UK Garry. West coast tends to be blue.. blue/green and the East coast.. sh1tty brown
It may not be totally representative of your particular part of the world mate (as it wouldn't be if you live off Gateshead!!) but there.. it works a treat
Very impressive considering they're standard textures. The shaded area close to the coastline is pretty good too although the cutoff between 'sea' and inshore is a bit false. Not knocking it though as it's still very good

The very dark area, might be Microsoft way to express Shadows from the slightly higher coastline....
I got FSX DX in birthday present, but haven't installed it yet.
No to sure on how FS9 and FSX would co-existence on the same rig....someone might enlighten me.
Best Rgds

The run absolutely perfectly together.. it's the uninstall you should worry about
Just remember to back flights up if you do take FSX off.
Nice shots!

Thanks Dan
I'll give it a try then....
Have to get at FSX-converted VC10 shoved in before I will take my maiden-flight though.
I think that would be appropriate.

Its a shame the sea does'nt get choppier once the wind & rain picks up. It would be nice to peer out the window and watch the sea batter the rock face. Perhaps an idea for the future?!

Excellent shots! They almost make me want to learn how to fly a helicopter in FS9. Never have mastered it, even with the Hovercontrol HUD installed. I'll stick to beating eggs.
