After fying Rick's T7 I thought I'd given the old AlphaSim single seater a dust off.
Verdict? Not bad, not bad at all (But like Dave B, I'm a bit of a long term AlphaSim fan, afterall there the only payware boys to bother with my sort of stuff
You know John.. I spent absolutely yonks looking for my Lightning T's yesterday and stumbled over that model in one of my old 2002 folders. How's it go in 2004??
Okey doh.. dust sheets off that one too I remember talking to Michael at the time (just prior to its release) and he mentioned this particular model was a first for him, though not his first model. Comes with a nice soundset too if I remember correctly
You're right mate.. it does fly pretty well in 2004 doesn't it  Can't find where I put the fx files but had one turn of luck. Thought I'd try it first without loading the gauges and bless my soul.. I had a full cockpit in the sim!! You gotta love Alpha for reusing the old gauges many times as I'd never had the Meatbox on that pc
It has a little too much directional stability I think (drop a wing and it's not that keen on turning) but considering it's age, it does very well indeed. I noticed the other day that it's still on the Alpha 'A' list too
Not sure about a Sqn repaint John but hopefully, someone will come up with something fitting
