I have a habit of jumping straight into an aircraft and taking off and then reading the how to fly manuals later as I have done with the Viscount  That'll teach me.

Hey TV, that's very impressive. I've just started this modeling malarky myself and I've not got anywhere near as good as that.

it would have been easier to have gone up the M6 from Cosford by road had this happened on the ground!  Maybe I'll just do that next time. Just when you mentioned feathering the props, I was mapping a hot key for the props feather or was it auto feather I can't mind which but I might've ...

Yep, me the same. I mostly switch to that view only when I come into land. I find it a bit difficult sometimes if I can't see the threshold with some panels.

Slight mishap

As East Fortune is getting delivery of the Viscount which is at Cosford, I decided to fly it there myself rather than have it dismantled and then reassembled. Fantastic shots Tom. Would love to actually see and here the DC6 in real life. The only Atlantique aircraft I see nowadays is the Electra when it comes up to Prestwick to do circuits. You can always tell its an old plane as you can see the smoke trails from it but still a wonderful site.

2d for me at the moment. I like having it simple and easy to make out the instrument panel readings. The VC is nice and I use it now and again when I'm in cruise mode but I always go to 2d panel when I have to make any kind of maneouvre. But that may start to change due to two facts....Rick's Budgie...
