wing_pos_apex_lon for swept-wing aircraft
Does anyone know the formula FlightSim uses to calculate the position of wing_pos_apex_lon for swept-wing aircraft ?

Hi Rick,
That's interesting that it doesn't affect the way an aircraft flies, you would think it should have some affect. If I had the talent of you modeller's I'd love to have a go at making a model for FS but sadly don't think I'll ever get round to it. Anything I was to do would probably turn out something like this :

Hi Rick,
I've been playing a lot recently with JM's BAe146-200 but all my changes have been in the .cfg file where a lot of the aircraft geometry was way off from the datum. I moved things about by making a light in the position where I thought things should have been. The tailplane position for example was some considerable distance in front of the cockpit! I'd like to play with it a bit more by perhaps dabbling in the airfile variables as in some areas it doesn't seem quite right still. It's also for my own personal use as this sort of thing interests me. I used to deal a lot with aircraft c. of g. etc and compiled the weight and balance sheet for the Air Angla EMB110 Bandeirante when it was introduced onto fleet.
