John,

I think that lever is for carb heat. AIDL (the basis for the current Rapide panel) doesn't have exactly the same layout as the aircraft in your shot but that said.. I have yet to see two Rapide panels the same!! :roll:

What was that 4 engine DeHavilland biplane that cmae out in the late 30's? QANTAS had some on the Darwin, Jakarta, Singapore route, in fact, I think one of them was one of the last civvie plane out fo singers before it fell
