Hi Ian

I have PN's for the 31, RNZAF 31 and the RAAF 21

The Superfreighter is identical to the 31 apart from the extra five feet on the nose and the increase so any interior shots would be very useful

I have some but not very many detailed pics

I will...eventually be turning it into other members of the family 31 and 21 will be the first.

So perhaps if you can send the photos that would be great.

OHHH... :tuttut: :crying: The 32 before all:))))

I have a fabolous 1957 B&W movie (VHS) with one of the best English Actors ever, Jack Hawkins . One hour and half of Bristol Mk31 in every kind of shade.
Do you know it ? If not, look at this :

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0049475/

This is a must for all English aviation buff and Freighter lovers ,like me.

Garry , your choice is really great! :-({|=

Here is my IMDB comments regarding the movie :

Great movie, english flavour, great performers. Jack Hawkins has been one of the best English actors ever. Aviation fans must ab-so-lu-te-ly see this movie, altough not available in the VHS circuit. As far as I know, this is the only feature film where it is possible to admire the ubiquitous Bristol 170 Freighter. She was a cargo plane built in the late forties by the english aviation firm Bristol. A must for all you aviation minded people. The cast is at his best, the drama and suspense still thrill a lot. Highly reccomended !

Probably, English people will laugh a lot for my courious English but that's it!

Unfortunately , this movie is not available (together with the Avro Ashton film Cone of Silence) on VHS or DVD. The only chance to see it is the British television . As a matter of fact my copy is in Italian.

Hi kikko

I dont think this film appears on British television.

Often in the afternoons there are old films of that period shown but I have no seen that ever. l Cone of Silence I have seen but not for about thirty years or so either

I don't think they are in the batch of films shown.
