Tonks wrote:Ha ha ha... there will be a lot of competition for that... wouldn't be surprised if it goes for over £80!!!! I have been after one of those for ages, but ebay tends to over-inflate the prices of such things as people bid too early!!!

DaveB wrote: 'Don't forget these aircraft had a flightcrew of FOUR' I'm not gonna try and put words into anyones mouth but considering what DM has since done with the Trident, One-Eleven and Comet.. the VC10 may get a good going over some time. Depends how bored he get's ;-)

Mind you.... Having the altitude Concorde (which I do find VERY impressive) you have to draw a line somewhere. Checklists etc are fine and dandy - but getting into the minutiae, and additional stuff like pax views - is going a little extreme for my taste - actually not realistic in the flying sense - do we need Flight Engineer Simulator X ? ;-)

And as for the Pilot sitting in first class over the alps, well......

Jim..

I got as far as Ireland before descending to earth in that model. There are limts and this is the danger when making something as real as you can. Many folk aren't interested so an alternate MUST be made if you're not gonna lose customers.. as did Altitude ;-)
