Hey Rich... I used to cruise through here daily, (though didn't post much) Kind of re-discovered the place going though my favorites folder today...

Did you find a way of getting the fully clickable VC to work in the DC3 Passenger...I seem to have the Grey Cloth walled fully detailed version of the VC in that but not clickable. In the C47 I have the Green Cloth walled fully clickable version. I wondered if it is possible to alias it over, but I think the Model in the DC3 lacks something to allow it to work. Perhaps a juggling and renaming of a C47 Model in the DC3 folder might work the magic, but then the textures might not fit...Any thoughts?

Springbok Flying Safaris out of the Rand AIrport near Johannesburg. Actually does DC-3 Safaris, as well as with the DC-6.

Another plus?? There is a repaint of the Sprinkbok DC-3 for the MAAM-SIM DC-3... Its over at AVSIM, search Heather Sherman, she's the artist. There is also a group(Aeroworx) that does some pretty good scenery packages for South Africa, also all available from AVSIM.
Hi Jeff,

I must have missed that repaint, I worked on ZS-GPL in Johannesburg in 1982-83 at United Air.
I recall one of the jobs we did was ,at the S.A. CAA insistance, was to fit an engine fire detection system.
Forty years after she was built they got worried about engine fire detection. :dunno:
Glad to see shes still flying (hope she hasn't had any engine fires) and thanks for the heads up on the repaint, I'll head of over to MAAM sim as soon as I get home next week.

Steve
