i cant see the issue, and cant see any lame excuses. i was asked to make it, which i did for FS9, and it works fine. I was then asked to make it for FSX, which i do not have the required SDK installed, so a simple port over was done, changing the gauges to suit. it is listed as FSX as it has FSX compatable gauges, thats it, nothing else. the FS9 version will not run in FSX becasue of this.

You didn't say that before. I'm pretty sure that everyone assumed you'd simply took the FS9 model and slapped an FSX tag onto it, when clearly the exterior model in FSX doesn't display correctly.
Would it not be an option to repackage the FS9 model with FSX gauges as an option, with a note to say that the props don't show up correctly? It seems a little silly to pull the entire thing because of objections from a mere 2/3 people.
The lame excuse is not due to FSX issues but a lame excuse as to your reason for describing it as something it is not.
I am well aware of the difficulties and have spent hours including with some other members today trying to overcome issues to get things to work in FS.X
You miss the point....it is nothing to do with it not being FS.X compliant....only about the fact that it was said to be FS.X compatable when it is not.....even if some of it is.
Again why pull it when you could just say what it is

Guys, this was a request made for me or should i say my 10yr old son, who loves old heli's and collects models, this model has made him very happy as from memory is the only flyable model of the Skeeter available for Flight Simulator, if anyone can do any better i will gladly come and download it and try it out, but for now i think Gaffer has done a great job making this available fs9/fsx compatable, nowit looks like a few harsh words againt it has made him pull it off the site and will probrably not get more work done to it... its a damn shame thats all that some people are not even happy with freeware models.....
