Someone told me they were doing a FS9 version as well, those shots do look good Tony. Interesting to see you get better FRas well, I would have thought it was a crippler.. I use Ground Enviroment and Active sky and with max settings i.e. clouds and real weather it can drop FR on FS9 a lot. Wonder if this would be better, I guess it would replace GE and AS6.5??

I'm not totally convinced yet. To be honest I think the water and clouds are better in FEX, but obviously it doesn't have the weather engine. Even the screenshots for ASX and their GraphicX product look very good too. I would love to see a comparison of the different products.

Ben,

My recent pictures posted in the gallery were taken using Active Sky & X Graphics in FSX.

Cheers Mate.

To my mind that looks much better. I might have to have a dabble :)

Hmmm....just noted that the price of REX has snuck up to 60 dollars..????

I paid 40 dollars on release...is it normal for companies to hike the prices like that...?

It didn't say it was on special or anything... :dunno:

I don't think the price has changed, you probably have the currency set to Australian dollars instead of US ones. It's $40 US, $60 Aus or £27. If it had been released a few months ago it would have been £20 and I'd have bought it without a second thought, that's exchange rates for you. :)

Hi...

Got this package too but I already uninstalled it!
Not because I don't like it but it makes my FSX crash to a black screen time after time!
I am flying for about one minute in a perfect scenery and fantastic clouds and then my FSX "minimizes and I get stuck with a black screen.
FSX is still running but I cannot maximize it again, I only see the black screen.
Only way to restart FSX after such a crash is a hard reset of my system.
If you look at the REX support forum, then you can see that a lot of people have a lot of trouble with this package.
It's not that I don't like it, it's great but I won't re-install before they have fixed the load of bugs that seems to be in the software.

After uninstalling REX it runs like hell again without any black screens.
