Flaps set to take off, certainly not taxi power, rotate and there we go, then again what can the CAA do to the pilot??? My guess his licence is safe due to the fact he probably does not have one If he is aretired Victor pilot who does taxi runs etc he would not need one ;-)

Cracking picture! Is it my eyes or do both ailerons look to have an up deflection? Stbd side very noticeable and I'd have expected to see an opposite deflection of the port aileron but that looks to be up as well though not as much as stbd

Hi John..

As mentioned elsewhere, the Victor has Aileron Upset which, until any more info comes to light, would explain why they're both up ;-)

Wow, that looks messy, not a pleasant sight, bet some ones "" nipped up there !. That attitude'd be ok if you were commited to take off, if not you'd probably be wishing you were and not rushing towards the end of the runway. Looks like a boot full of rudder as well, was it a cross wind by chance ?.

hello all from the big country..

Got my techy head on here...for those that don't know the Aileron Upset was(is) a cunning way of providing bend and twist relief for the wing,
and while we're in a 'Victor' mode have you seen this months Handley-Page special 'Aeroplane Monthly' ?
