I have the BAC1-11 the Comet IV and the Trident all in FSX and they work just fine.

I'd love the Comet.

Ant, can you try switching off DX10 mode in FSX please?
Don't think I'm running DX10, but I'll check it. I'll also check the transparancy slider, although I don't think that's set incorrectly either.

I've tried with and without antialaising, transparency is set at 0% and I'm still trying to find out which version of DX I have. :$

Doesn't matter which version of directx you have, if you have the possibility to switch off the DX10 Preview option within FSX, do that.

(you can always find out by typing in dxdiag in the "Run" box)

Unless you run Windows7 (DX11) you'll be on either (DX10 - Vista) or (DX9 - XP)

But as FSX wasn't built for DX10, there is absolutely no reason to have this option switched on.

You must have a DirectX 10 graphics adapter to enable the DirectX 10 features (the check box for DirectX 10 is not visible if you don't have compatible hardware)

To dis- or enable DirectX 10 in Flight Simulator X, open the Settings - Graphics dialog box.

I'm Windows XP. DX9.

Also, I assume that strobes aren't meant to work as the switch says inop on the panel. I also can't get the APU past 'start' to actually say 'run', even though I can start the engines. Otherwise, I love this aircraft, it's great! :)

Don't know if this is a clue or not, but sometimes when I go back to VC, the rest of the cockpit comes back for a split second then goes back as to it was.
