this has been on the cards for some time, i do believe its too costly to fly the tornados back so they getting the chop over there...

You can almost hear the seething rage behind that passive-aggressive statement.For almost two decades fighter jets from RAF Leuchars have been providing air cover for the Falkland Islands - on standby and ready to scramble in minutes. But now new Typhoon jets from an English-based squadron are taking over and the pilots, crews and planes from Fife are heading home. Cameron Buttle went to see the final missions of the Leuchars Tornados.
