He's reached the Polish border and is now waiting for the fog to lift. Destination is EYPR Pociunai airfield and the Termikas overhaul facility.

Hi James,

I don't know the route details until he gets back tomorrow, but an unmodified 52 has a terrible endurance, about 1hr 15mins before you really want to be re-uniting yourself with the ground (Typical cruise speed of about 130knots). So with that in mind a ferry tank was fitted into the rear cockpit. He arrived in Lithuania on Saturday a couple of hours after my last post. So its down to guys in Lithuania to fit the extend fuel tanks (another 45 litres per wing), smoke system and do the repaint. Hopefully someone has a digi camera there and can take a few snaps along the way - I'll post them here if I can get any.

Cheers

Hi James,

Looks like January now, there's a delay in getting the extended tanks unfortunately. I'll have to put a few hours on the Alphasim 52 instead :D

The bit I caught sight of, someone was definitely 'lagging' behind the rest of the formation (a kind of loose 'finger four') ....yes I fixed it btw!
