I must admit. It sounded a bit too easy. I had started to model a completely new Viscount a couple of years ago to obtain one with a virtual cockpit but ran into modelling problems with all of those oval windows and FSDS's erratic Boolean intersection operations. I guess I'll have to reopen the research file. I have never worked in FSX before.Nope......it's not possible as the Viscount is not an FS.X native model.
Thanks Gary for the information. Incidently, for everyone's information who may not know, in installing the Viscount files referenced in Classic British Flight Sim I couldn't get them to appear in FSX until a careful study of all of the files revealed that some uppercase file names were used for some (but not all) of the texture files. Once I had renamed them they worked fine. Apparrently FSX has a stricter naming proticol than FS9.
Thanks again.
