Nope......it's not possible as the Viscount is not an FS.X native model.
I must admit. It sounded a bit too easy. I had started to model a completely new Viscount a couple of years ago to obtain one with a virtual cockpit but ran into modelling problems with all of those oval windows and FSDS's erratic Boolean intersection operations. I guess I'll have to reopen the research file. I have never worked in FSX before.

Thanks Gary for the information. Incidently, for everyone's information who may not know, in installing the Viscount files referenced in Classic British Flight Sim I couldn't get them to appear in FSX until a careful study of all of the files revealed that some uppercase file names were used for some (but not all) of the texture files. Once I had renamed them they worked fine. Apparrently FSX has a stricter naming proticol than FS9.

Boolean doesn't seem to work well in FSDS

I've tried it and it makes such a mess I just do it the longwinded manual method :(
