When I decided to try the download again, it picked up from where it left off. So "resetting the download," doesn't actually go back to the beginning.

:dunno:

Depends how things are set up but quite a few downloads of various things will pick up where they left off in a break *-)

Typically on download sites that offer you normal slow for free of fast for payment, the fast will pick up on a break and the free will reset to the beginning.

Anyhow.glad you got sorted in short order.....nothing worse than sitting for hours drooling over the keyboard...then :-O   :'(

If you can 'steel yourself', I would wait a day or so, the Simshed site is saying 500 downloads already, waiting a bit longer should make it quicker to get a faster DL......mind you, I have had it on my FSX for testing for months, so I would say that!

Great work Brian, possibly the best freeware release of the year guys?

Sometimes you find a freeware developer who will say things such as, "It's free, so take it or leave it" or "It's not my fault if your system can't handle it". The usual disclaimers.

I have to tell you, that having read of my download problem, Brian went to the trouble of sending me an e-mail to ask if he could help. How refreshing is that?

I just felt that I had to say a public thank you.

Completely snowed in probably for the next 2 days so will fly the old bird again and document how to work the FD/Autopilot. Once done I'll html it and post a link to to the Simshed site.
