Perish the thought!

It does go well in FSX and one could easily forget this was an FS2002 model..

It does doesn't it ;)

The basic premiss applies. If it's made right first time round.. it will stand the test of time  Nice as that livery was, 372 never wore it which also dispels another myth.. always believe what you see in a museum. You do so at your peril! Pity the 2D views don't work in FSX.. a LOT of hours work went into them but hey.. the rest still works so the initial work was not in vain ;)

Indeed Dave :agree:

To support your comment to the masses, here two more examples fro Brooklands

When presented by BAF the Viscount was given their current title (The script type) where in fact she never wore that in service.

G-APIM was, by far, the last to get British titles and didn't have them long but fortunately the recent repaint has seen her now get the most typical titles she wore...also the nicest.

The Vanguard has artwork showing 'ES in FJ pax, a livery that no Merchantman ever wore before conversion

Another classic example is the BOAC Comet 4C at Everett that was originally with Mexicana and the Trident 1C being restored that will be in Northeast livery, not to mention Cosford withe the incorrectly painted BOAC Comet and the Britannia which has lost it's incorrect BOAC livery for a fake RAF paint

Museums tend to be more interested in general popular presentation rather than pure historical fact, like the MAM Viscount that was never Capital or the Science Museums Constellation that was never TWA
