Be careful if you use Saitek joysticks etc! The Touch Pilot PC server wiped out my Saitek drivers, requiring a re-install. :wall:

Thanks Peter, interesting stuff.

I managed to have a look on their web site. They've a wee support forum as well and others are mentioning possibility of configuring as a future option. There was some talk on it of issues re the Saitek SST software clashing as well, so they are aware of an issue there Dave.

Looks like this is worth following to see what develops. It has great potential for all sorts of uses. If they can do an interface that's configurable you could end up with a raft of iPads set up in front of you forming a complete cockpit dash of whatever you fly at great expense if your not careful

Thanks for the HU Peter.

I Have installed and cofigured the system very easily and it works. :agree:
However I have the same reservations as Ian (speedbird) and that I have got used to the keyboard and can reach the keys without looking and using the iPad will take time to get used to including the small button icons. :|

As I have it set up I will keep trying, but I automatically reach for the keybord keys.

Great app and would recommend it notwithstanding my reservations.

Regards

John

EDIT - sorry forgot to mention that my Sidwinder FF2 Joystick started playing up last week and I was unable to use it. After installing the Touch Pilot software it now works fine!! :S
