I had a look at that Ben. I'm not such a great fan of the GR3 but it looks a smashing model. Can't afford it though hence the UKMIL model. It'll win no awards for detail but it's functional and the price is right up my street ;)

Found Invinc' off Llanbedr as prescribed. Tuesday is a particularly good day as I have AR IV off Anglesey around 1430 too. Busy, busy, busy  The UKMIL Shar is a bit of a handful but every Harrier I've flown is.. especially transition from speed to hover. You'll have to let us know what you think of the Wilco model ;)

I dunno if this chap was looking for shipping too but I picked him up transiting south.. probably from Kinloss. I can't remember doing this traffic file so it was a shock to be watching the FSC screen and see NIMROD appear. Couldn't help but go and have a look

Nimrod courtesy of Simshed.. FRS1 from UKMIL ;)

That's a lovely find mate  I'm sure I did some Nimrod AI, but I don't think I've had it for a while.

Yes mate.. chuffed to bits ;) I made an AI set a while ago while testing the Nimrod for Brian. Not sure if this was part of it or what.. been too long so it may well be yours  I was looking for a 737 to shoot down but I have them banished from FSX ;) After taking a breather at Valley, I shot up to the Barrow area to pick these guys up..

Andromeda to the left of me..

Glamorgan to the right..

here I am, stuck in the middle with you ;)

Both Andromeda (an old FS9 model.. wrong but better than nothing) and Glamorousorgan show dark out of direct sun don't they yet against the sun (side on) they almost whiteout.

Right.. Invincabubble should be nearing Llanbedr now. Off I trot :cpu:

EDIT: Well, she wasn't off Llanbedr.. in fact, no sign of her. Is this trip a 'daily' Ben?

Looking at these great screenshots I'm obviously spending too much time modelling and not enough flying!!

Agree about the screen shots Gary, but as for the other part, don't you dare change course

Indeed Graham. The majority of the shots on this thread would have no content were it not for the likes of Gary ;)

By all means fly mate.. 5mins a day should do you then back to the drawing board

The drawing board is full lads. Ark royal and illustrious ready to go over the next two weeks, invincible 82 and USS oriskany after that- then at various stages of construction:
HMS Queen Elizabeth (CVF)
CVA-01 (very early stages)
HMS Hermes (island completed no textures)
HMS Albion (current LPD)
Type 45 HMS Daring (3rd party mesh needs texturing)

I've got a busy year!!
:cpu:

All of these I'm working on to fill the gaps unless a more skilled developer produces one before me

Cheers
G

If 'busy year' means up to the end of 2012.. you certainly HAVE!

I think you underestimate your talent mate. While some folk may find going up and down on side lifts the thrill of their lives.. I think I can put hand on heart and say that the majority of us here do not fall into that category. What you've produced with Invincible is a functional model that looks like Invincible. The only thing I could think of adding to improve it at some point would be lights, be that deck lights, nav lights or both. :) We're simple folk here and quite easily pleased  I'm sure you've already realised that

This should have been a shot of the Sigma GR7 on Invincible but I snapped another and overwrote it :wall:

It takes a bit of fiddling to get it all to work and even then, it doesn't all work. Something, somewhere in the model causes the HUD in the VC to go 'chrome like' and to get it see thru.. you either have to fly without lights (any light causes the chrome effect).. disable the effecs xml gauge in the panel.cfg (too much smoke will have the HUD going chrome) or.. use the 2D which is fine but you can't see a lot out. All this is old hat to those who tried it when FSX came out. Anyway.. when you add the rcbvcb10 gauge, you get pretty fair working VTOL/VSTOL and the model will actually hover :-O

The wafu's onboard are certainly being kept busy.. for a change
