I enjoyed reading that and wondered why I did not remember it happening...Then I remembered I was at school at Ealing every day doing studies for my Commercial Pilot's Licence and then my Airline Transport Pilot's Licence. So I guess I was pretty pre-occupied! That is a fantastic achievement to get Round the World, Solo in a Single engined Cessna in 19 days!

What an odd story!
Amazing that such an achievement has gone without fanfare for all these years.
You'd think that her sponsors would have been keen to plaster the news all over the place. Strange indeed.
