This was a regular one from the Cornish conedian Jethro.His featured his character Denzil Pemburthy and friend trying to get home after a night on the town in Cornwall.

It's like getting "long in the tooth"....The ears aren't getting bigger, the head's shrinking, I think.
why is it when we get older our ears get bigger, but we hear less...
