Could be worse ! As it's really a ship, not a boat, it could be Shippy McShipface. :-O :-#

I did like the idea of 'Usain Boat' :hide:

The whole thing reminds me of many years back, British Airways Birmingham running a competition for names for it fleet of planes. The theme was Shakespearian characters, with 'Bottom' being by far the most popular. Strangely, no aircraft was named 'Bottom' :( .

It's no worse than HMS Cockchafer.

She was a gunboat on the Yangtze, so maybe the name is a reference to the humidity and Chinese laundry.

It used to be a serious affair naming a ship, just proves what a bunch of morons the younger generation have become,
sorry guys but I didn't find anything amusing in that report, just made me angry at the lack of respect.

Why not call the ship " Endeavour", we had the old ship James Cook. one of if not the best explorer we have ever had.

All this Cra== with these names i do not think they are funny at all but then i'm a Grump Old B.

What i think is Immaterial anyway, it's just how i feel about it.
