On further inspection, it's rather larger than I originally thought. That wake goes back a looong way, and it certainly is moving fast.
The smoke looks to be from a single offset funnel, but the colours don't look military.
If it's not a specialised research ship, I'll guess at a ferry.
The blue water and gently curving land look somewhat Arctic. I duuno! :dunno:

Two more shots. It was a very noisy Hydrofoil. Picture of my wife waiting to board for our return journey. Note the Duty Free bag, which could be a clue as to the location.
