Re: A wake.
Poor little water molecules getting all mixed up.
Are there prizes for guessing where it is?

Re: A wake.
You may be able to guess what craft it is Mike, but if you can guess the location, I'll pay for you to go there.

Re: A wake.
Is it somewhere in the Aegean, the Greek islands etc ?

Re: A wake.
On further inspection, it's rather larger than I originally thought. That wake goes back a looong way, and it certainly is moving fast.
The smoke looks to be from a single offset funnel, but the colours don't look military.
If it's not a specialised research ship, I'll guess at a ferry.
The blue water and gently curving land look somewhat Arctic. I duuno!

Re: A wake.
Cross channel high speed catamaran ferry?
Re: A wake.
Where ever it is, the noise and bouncing around must have kept everyone...awake.
Re: A wake.
Two more shots. It was a very noisy Hydrofoil. Picture of my wife waiting to board for our return journey. Note the Duty Free bag, which could be a clue as to the location.

This was actually on 11th June 2015, our 55th wedding anniversary.

You're either on Rhodes or Turkey. I wasn't too far off with the Aegean/Greek islands guess.

Holy smoke! THAT is some duty free shopping! Check out the bag, must be on wheels!

Cheers, Mike.
