It came with no history notes, Kevin, but I will be asking a few select sources.
Won't hold my breath, as I gave model & serial number of my gun camera to IWM and others, to see if they could tell me anything.

I am inspecting the insides, and will be putting detail pics on the AFV site.
Gears work, film spool rotates and is removable, counter and red & white indicator rotates to show that film is engaged on both spools.
I'm trying to undo the last 4 screws that hold the works onto the bottom of the magazine, to check for corrosion.
I don't like my chances of acquiring film - I can't even find anyone to process the last photos we took with our SLR.
I will be hooking up the plug points to a pair of car batteries in series, as it's 24v; I'm hoping to get the shutter to open, so an image may display on the glass where the film passed.
None of the plug points is labelled, so it'll be interesting at least!
