208Sqn were born out of No.8 NAS so there's a naval connection for a start!! For a great part of their early - early middle life, they were based in Egypt and the middle east and that's where the pyramid connection comes in. I say early to early-middle life without realising we're now in 2017 so in reality.. it would be more accurate to say early life. A long serving squadron with a proud history
