I think the bird of prey sitting on the propeller is a kind of scarecrow to discourage birds from s(h)itting on those expensive aircraft covers.

I don't know what the Jagdpanther is doing in the conservation hall, but there must be some work required. It's no mean feat to tow it all the way down from the Land Warfare Hall. There are two more tanks in the conservation hangar at the moment, neither of which I've ever seen before, and they clearly do need some remedial work.

Nigel, there were a few other people around during the day, but walking down the row of DAS airliners, not another soul could be seen. I had them all to myself! :)
