I really like the Texaco Cosworth too. Memories of Steve Soper and the late Roland Ratzenburger....

Downloaded it. 2 laps in the Sauber - love it. Purchasing today!

VLM had that coming. (sniff!) :worried:
As a young pre teen sprog I was never fully aware of the facts. Now I can see why "Customs and Exercise" may get concerned as to why a BTCC team needed quite so much testing in Holland!

Rick,

Having a bit of a problem with that gorgeous lupo you textured for me. Perhaps I've installed incorrectly. The textures show up fine in the garage preview but as soon as I go into a race they put themselves all over the shop, stretched and out of place.

Any ideas?

Hi Alex

you need the car detail settings on full as i used no Mips.

if you have the detail of the player car below full it will try to mip the textures but there are none.

Sorry but i always have the car graphics on full and track detail on high.

Regards
Rick

Rick,

Thats got it, she looks gorgeous too!

I'm sat in an empty MP session "CBFSim" with password "reheat" if you are around to test?

Hi Alex

Here are the 2 cars
removed as it 's not right

in DXT5 with mips (ie: correct format for any screen setting)

Also updated the Bump map alignment as it was way off on my template
& i have redone the window markings and sunstrips to show our names.

Let me know when you want to whip me on the track
(I will win in Real Life but possibly not in the sim)

I don't have a wheel and pedals which makes a big difference to lap times in this car.

Regards
Rick

Rick,

She looks ok as she is so don't rush anything. I'll be sat in an empty MP session for you to test for the next hour if you are around. The Missus is coming round at 4 so I had better stop playing "Those silly games" by then ;)
