Hi Alex

I think you should try it with firewall turned off just to see if that is the problem.

I am still on and in my CBFSIM game

Rick

We got it worked out eventually and I must say I was rather impressed, very smooth, no stuttering or anything.

Nice to see you are still loving the race sims Rick, I am still waiting for the Spirit of 76 mod and the 80's touring car mod for rF

That said, I have tried VERY hard to like rF, but I just can't seem to get a handle on it for some reason, thus its still sitting in some dark and dusty corner of my HDD (the same corner as FS is incidentaly  ).

LFS is still my sim of choice ATM

Wow thats a good game, but as others have said its realistic to the point where its very hard to control.

Everytime I think I've got it, It spins out....

So it appears, decided to set it to medium settings and get used to it on those, not a bad little game when you get down to it.

HA!! HA!!

Just saw this post, I never come here, I just reply to new posts!! Need to
get out more!!

We got this and it ran fine a couple of days, then it quit working!!
We have tried about everything we know to get it going with no
luck!! And you sure don't get any help at their site!!

We had to format one computer because it kept trying to install
rfactor even after we had deleted everything we could find!!

Image

Image

We have asked for our money back, BIG joke!!

When it works, it is great!! If you run the install setup, it will work
until you shut down the computer, then the incon is dead!!

The graphics are really nice!! It looks even better than the shot!!

Image

I love everything about this game, if it would just work after restarting!!

You lose all your settings and replays everytime!! Instant replay has
AIs in it BTW!!

Like I said before, the graphics are unreal real!!

This is not how you are supposed to do it!!
