Cyprus Airways operated a number of Viscounts on short term lease during the latter part of the seventies.
They mostly remained in the owners livery as in this case....BMA

Amazing how BMAs paint scheme grows on you - also garry you caught a couple of odl friends for me - November Alpha and Lima Romeo both frequent vistiors to Luton in my day

BMA used to use them on Luton Jersey at least.

Actually yes - Those were the days when Mick Poulton was the station manager and they had their Ops office right next to Dan Airs under the tower
seems they had two or threee flights a day

In those days they also had quite a few flight into Southend.
Those came about........and possibly the Luton as well, by taking over Channel Airways routes when they went bust.
Lima Sierra is also making an appearance as Rye Airways.......
So you know anything about them?
If you do could you add it to the Rye thread.
