BMA/Cyprus Airways Viscount..........4 pics

Post by Garry Russell »

Cyprus Airways operated a number of Viscounts on short term lease during the latter part of the seventies.

They mostly remained in the owners livery as in this case....BMA

BMA used to use them on Luton Jersey at least.

Was BMA very common there in your day Leif?

Cheers Leif

In those days they also had quite a few flight into Southend.

Those came about........and possibly the Luton as well, by taking over Channel Airways routes when they went bust.

Lima Sierra is also making an appearance as Rye Airways.......

So you know anything about them? :dunno:

If you do could you add it to the Rye thread.
