Hi,
Having been away from simming for a couple of years, I’m now returning, having forgotten almost everything in the meantime.
How do I switch on the INS in the DM VC10, so that it follows the flight plan I have programmed in the CDU? There’s a small switch under the two CDU’s named “INS”. But ...

Re: Scotland's independence; any thoughts, chaps ?
And who is next? Wales and Corwall?
For me as non-british, I think it is sad if UK gets so small! What about your flag Union Jack - would look odd with no blue background and white cross. Would it just be the english flag?
Best Regards
Anders

Re: Capt Sim L-1011
They may have patched the 757 since, but it was their attitude that stunk. I do like the 757, but ill stick with the QW one. :)
Yes, the QW 757 has nearly only good reviews, opposed to the CS 757. But I took the chance with the CS at their latest 10 Euro sale, and after some tutorials and debate ...

Hi,
Once I get the time, I will definately add this to my hangar. Among the screenshots, I really like the BA Landor paint; appears as if they got the pearl gray color right, opposed to the JF which appears more white.
I have most CS aircraft now, and despite some bugs, I really like them. Work ...

Re: Intel Q or Intel E?
Hi,
I´m so new in the MSFS community, that I haven´t tried anything but Vista and 7, both 64 bit in FS9/X. Vista was a mess, and 7 was a giant relief, so Vista was soon forgotten.
I have also heard, that some of the secrets to FSX stability is 64 bit OS because it can address more memory. With ...

Re: Intel Q or Intel E?
Hi,
Hmm interesting. Maybe we should start a new forum thread; “Us with vintage rigs running FSX” ;)
I am actually a bit surprised how well my OC´ed AMD Phenom II rig handles FSX. Ultralong hauls like 17-19 hours with the CS 777-200LR no problem.
Especially seen in the light that some folks with ...

Re: I've killed my PC today
Hi Tony,
I didn´t see you post until now. But I have the exact same MB as yours. It came when I bought it 3½ years ago with an X3 710 Phenom II, Vista-64 bit and F2 BIOS.
In the meantime I upgraded to W7-64 bit (upgrade, no complete reinstall), and today I use the latest F12 BIOS and an X6 1100 ...

Re: Any good Freeware 727s
Thank you for the input.
As both the Legendary 707 and 727 now can be had for 10 Euro´s, I think I will give them a try.
BR,
Anders

Re: Any good Freeware 727s
I have also been considering buying CS´s 727 for FS9. But CS does not offer any support for their FS9 products, if you are using Windows 7, only if you are using XP. A big mistake I think, as FS9 just seem not to die, and I´m sure that it will be around for many years still.
BR,
Anders

I agree with the other comments regarding HJG´s 727. Just fantastic :)
