Re: TMA CL-44 paint request
Chris, Checked logbook - it must have been an overnight flight departing Kuwait for Beirut 21/7/65, then carrying on from Beirut to Heathrow (sorry London Airport !) via Geneva on the 22nd. My abiding memory of the flight (I was only 5) was getting my first ever Toblerone during the Geneva stop ! Ch...

Re: TMA CL-44 paint request
Chris - just took a peek at my Junior Jet Club log book - just possible that the signature of the captain on a Kuwait Airways Comet 4C flight from Kuwait to Heathrow via Beirut and Geneva in July 1965 was your dad - quite hard to decipher though. I think that I posted some photos of the demise of Tr...

Re: Heads Up SR - 53
Hi - the usual ..... Copied over interior model from a payware hunter that I'd bought in the past - could use any freeware FSX native internal model from a suitable type as an alternative (perhaps the recently issued Phantom on Simviation ?). Edited the Model.cfg file in notepad, copied over the new...

Re: What Things Really Annoy You?
People who drive at 40 on country roads where the 60 limit is perfectly safe, who then carry on at 40 when they come to a village with a 30 limit !

Re: Captain Sim's 737
Probably a dense question .... downloaded the demo but when I try to fly, it has doors, escape slide, spoilers, flaps etc all open / deployed - is that what "External Model" means, or am I being stupid and not doing something obvious to clean the aircraft up ?

Re: Twin Pin!
Any chance of a Kuwait Oil Co Repaint ? Essential its the JF "BOAC" scheme with a Kuwaiti registration (9K-ACB) on the fins between two blue bands, with "KUWAIT OIL COMPANY LTD" in English and Arabic script on the fuselage immediately above a dark blue cheatline. Did manage to fi...

Re: The Pond
Not sure whether this is relevant, but last night (Friday) Norton A/V was not letting me get to CBF, having been no problem in the past - a "severe" intrusion attempt, :( something about network traffic matching a known attack. Strangely I could get in perfectly on my phone, so I'm assumin...
