Hey now, I'm one of the DB Admins over there so don't start cheating on the flights. The idea is to take the penalties as you're given them and then work hard to fix your reputation.

I'll be watching.... :tuttut:

My name is Joe, and I'm 26. I grew up in Davenport, Iowa, but moved to Centennial, Colorado (suburb of Denver) in '96. I currently build planes at Adam Aircraft, which is based out of Centennial Airport (KAPA). Geez... I can't believe we didn't cross paths at least once between '96 and '04. I moved...

Spent most of my youth in the suburbs of Dallas, moved to the Denver, Colorado, suburbs for High School where I graduate...

There was a DH Venom based at Centennial airport for a while (don't know if it's still there), and the F-86 is powered by a centrifugal-flow turbojet and they do sound different than axial-flow engines, but when at full power, they all sound the same - loud. I did see the turbofan on the GTBA...

The vast majority of all model aircraft gas turbines use compressors sourced from automotive turbochargers and many are on sale in the UK. See http://www.gtba.co.uk . "Major" manufacturers include Phoenix/Microjet (http://www.microjeteng.com/) and AMT I'm sorry, but you said "usually...

It's Centaurus for the Sea Fury as far as I know.

The Hercules I wouldn't think powerful enough

Are these not gas-turbine powered? (usually built from turbochargers) In which case, obviously they dont sound "just like the real thing" (mainly due to the small size and much higher rpm of the spool, but they dont sound unpleasant  1) No current R/C jet engines are built from tur...
