An even spookier coincidence......... In 1863/4 Abraham Lincolns son, Robert, was saved after falling down the platform / train gap at a railway station as the train arrived, by Edwin Booth. In 1865 Edwin Booths brother John Wilkes Booth assasinated the father of the man his brother had saved :think...

I've been using you Entebbe for a while now, and it's great! Dan, Do you know what filename that used? Would like a decent Entebbe scenery. Rgds Richard PS, By coincidence I was reading an article about the Air France hijacking there last night (I'm quite interested in the place as I used to spend ...

Interesting to see that they've managed to overcome the problems that a lot of vehicle manufacturers seem to be blighted with. Even in a hot desert climate the RR is still successfully rusting :-#  It does look a bit worse in the pics than it did in real life. There certainly was rust bu...

This just a guess, but that may have been an improvised field modification. Yep, it's quite likely to have been done locally. But... LR have built so many weird one-offs that it could also be a factory vehicle. They did design at least one type of desert patrol RR but it wasn't the same as this thi...

Any military vehicle fans here??

If so, what do you make of this; http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/RJPotts/RR1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/RJPotts/RR2.jpg It's based on a 1983 Range Rover. There were (& still are) plenty of SII, SIII & Defender based, weapon equipped Land Rovers but I've never seen a RR...

Well, if an Antonov recently showed up, then it's very possible... A B727 sim (actually, most sims for that fact) won't fit into a C-5, so it has to be transported by Antonov, ship, or land. The 124 (or 225) would've been easy to spot..... (well, if I wasn't a few thousand miles away  )....

Hi Toby, Ah, therein lies the problem.......... I havn't got a clue!! One of our F.E.s here mentioned it, all he's heard was that it's apparently at Farnborough. Seemed a bit odd to me but he's usually fairly well informed. If you could ask your friend if they've heard of one arriving it would be mu...

It can be done and its easy as pie... BUT!! depending on the version you have it may be a bugger to activate unless you have XP Pro and an Volume License Key, rather than a oem one (the sticker with the numbers on) Yep, after doing some more digging I found reports of it (sometimes!) being a doddle...

Dual Boot - 2x Win XP

Hello Sorry to post this.... I can find tons of info re dual-booting Win XP with just about every other OS known. What I havn't yet stumbled across is info about dual-booting between two WinXP installations. The MS site would seem to suggest that it can't be done (without having a second copy of XP!...
