Hi all.
I’m setting up a large batch of PCs with FSX. Due to licensing costs we can’t stretch to payware scenery upgrades for each installation, therfore can anyone recommend some freeware upgrades for trees, roads, buildings etc?
Thanks!

Re: uninstalling FSX
Thx for your advice folks. I’ve read that the Steam version has been completely recompiled using Visual basic instead of C++ (whatever that means) along with a host of other changes under the bonnet. The nett effect is a doubling of frame rates is possible on low end systems. Personally I’m getting ...

Re: uninstalling FSX
I didn’t install it on the second drive using the CD, I just copied the entire folder from C to D…. which makes me think I could just delete the folder and let anything else that gets left behind get overwritten by the fresh Steam install?
Or am I just being naive?

uninstalling FSX
Folks… appreciate your guidance on this one….. I have FSX installed twice on one PC, on a fast C drive that I use frequently and has all my extras and tweaks, and on a larger but slower D drive that I don’t use. I want to uninstall FSX from the D drive so that I can do a fresh install of Steam FSX o...

SA Bulldog for FS2004?
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the old Pegasus (or was it Phoenix?) SA Bulldog for FS2004? It was freeware but I can’t find it anywhere, just the Tim Conrad version. PS for any Air Cadet/RAF ab initio trainer types out there…. Iris are about to release a very good looking Grob Tutor thanks

disappearing posts?
I posted a couple of days back regarding the use of multiplayer..... but for some reason the post has totally disappeared.
Not sure if it has been moved (if so I can't find it) or deleted (did i do something wrong?)
Any thoughts?

Warbirdsim and A2A P51 Remote Compass?
I’m a big fan of the Warbirdsim and A2A P51s and fly them regularly, but I've never quite understood the use or benefit of the remote compass gauge.
Can anyone enlighten me please?

landing the Hunter
Just started flying Dave Garwood’s superb Hunter (it’s normally piston engined tail draggers for me) and my landings aren’t the best by any stretch, but for some reason once I’m down I haven’t got nose wheel steering or differential braking. Is it that realistic that I’m bending the nose wheel leg o...
